The hot months of summer mean an increase of fire risk, not just pool parties and Barbeques. In the case of a fire in your Summerlin home , be prepared so that you and your family remain safe. Put in smoke alarms in each room in the house, including stairwells. Each month, test and clean them.

With your family, review and practice escape routes. Make sure all exits are clear from obstacles and easy to access. Have all heating units and electrical outlets inspected regularly and do not keep flammables inside.
