The dry months of summer mean backyard parties and Barbeques. They also indicate an increase of fire risk. To make sure you and your family remain safe in the case of a fire in you Summerlin home , you need to be prepared. In every room of the house, including the stairwell, install smoke alarms. Each month, test and clean them.

With your family, review and practice escape routes. Be sure all exits are clear from obstructions and easy to access. Do not keep flammables indoors and have all heating units and electrical outlets looked at regularly. Contact Summerlin real estate or your local fire department for additional hints on fire safety.
