The dry months of summer mean an increase of fire risk, not just backyard parties and Barbeques. To make sure you and your family remain safe in the event of a fire in you Summerlin home , you must be prepared. Install smoke alarms in each room in the house, including stairwells. Test and clean them every month.

With your family, review and practice escape routes. Make sure all exits are free from obstacles and easy to access. Have all heating structures and electrical outlets inspected frequently and do not keep flammables indoors. Contact Summerlin real estate or your local fire department for more tips on fire protection.
