Mold can bring down almost any piece of Summerlin real estate . According to a new study, mold growth is primarily due to building quality, not weather and humidity.

Nowadays, buildings are built to meet strict energy regulations. When the outside heat is trapped, the moisture has no place to go, creating the greenhouse effect. To keep up on the mold infestation, it helps to get regular roof, drainage, and structure inspections.

Costs may add up, but ultimately, it will be more cost effective than fixing a giant mold problem. Furthermore, when it comes time to sell your Summerlin home , a mold problem can cost you the sale.
