Older Summerlin homes will be affected by new remodel methods created by the Environmental Protection Agency. For contractors taking part in remodels on homes built before 1978, the EPA asks for lead training, certification, and safe work practice requirements. Their mission is to erase the public health uneasiness of lead poisoning by the year 2010.

Lead has been used in paint for so many years and is a remarkably harmful metal. It could result in a slew of health problems and kids under the age of six are more at risk because their nervous systems are not yet entirely developed. If you have any concerns with regards to lead in your home, contact Summerlin real estate .
