Your Summerlin home has an up-to-date kitchen and a backyard setup for company. Putting in an elevator may be the next step. Residential elevators are more prevalent that you would think, specifically among baby boomers.

Elevators found in hotels or apartment buildings, traditional elevators, will be costly. The new, less expensive system is the pneumatic lift. This style contains a tall, see-through tube with a platform that moves up and down by using the force of suction. Elevators might not be for everyone and do take up a lot of space. However, Most Summerlin homeowners without elevators can't dream of going back.

A cutting edge design trend is sweeping the country. For Summerlin home decorating techniques, plenty of homeowners are visiting a taxidermist. Boutiques and fancy department stores have begun offering stuffed animals. From roosters and partridges to elk and bobcats, taxidermy decor is everywhere.

A lot of homeowners feel that using stuffed animals gives contemporary, cold interiors a bit of warmth. Although some love the look of a mounted deer head above the mantle, others think it's a bit disturbing. You better get your monkey while you can because there is no telling how long this taxidermy chic look will go on.
